Our History and Objectives
The foundation was established in 2014, following an outpouring of communal support for two children in Paramus, TJ Franson and Thomas Caruso, who had been diagnosed with severe illnesses. With the establishment of the foundation, this support was formalized into an ongoing initiative to provide both financial and emotional aid to families dealing with the stress of a child’s illness.
Being a tax-exempt charitable foundation under the IRS code 501(c)(3), donations to the Paramus Children’s Health Foundation are tax-deductible, offering an additional incentive for contributors.
Fundraising Efforts
The Paramus Children’s Health Foundation has a rich variety of fundraising initiatives, designed to engage the community in numerous ways. These include:

- Special events like fitness-related fundraisers at CRUNCH in Paramus, where entry fees to classes like The Ride with Maria, The Ride with Scott, and ZUMBA with Jackie are donated to support victims of major calamities like the East Brook school bus accident.
